Travel tip from Google maps

You have to love those guys at Google. They’re such goofs.

This comes from a good friend of mine, a schoolteacher from Charlotte (Hi, Karen!)…

Take 60 seconds to do this. I guarantee you will show someone else; it’s too funny not to.

1. Go to www.google.com

2. Click on “maps”

3. Click on “get directions”

4. Type “New York” in the first box (the “from” box)

5. Type “London” in the second box (the “to” box)

6. Scroll down to step #23

A good take on the old saw: Hi, I just flew in from New York, and boy are my arms tired!

See Charles, I should have asked you about step 23 before I booked a flight home!!

  3. Jim McBee Says:

It doesn’t work for every place, however. For instance, it won’t tell me how to get to New Delhi. So they’ve got some work to do, those Googlites.
