When Jeff Schnick proposed two years ago to me that VizEds should rally around helping out a scholarship I remembered that there is a great lineage now of visual editors who have come out of that EIU program including Cassie Armstrong, Matt Mansfield and Chris Soprych (Who I think was one of the first winners of this scholarship if I am not mistaken.) Congrats to Marco - I think it's a strong message to all that the top visual editor will be the EIC of the paper in the fall. Seeing the faces, naming the names and knowing the history of this award will make it easier for all of us to gather the energy to do a fundraiser lunch every year. Thanks to all,
