Today’s iPhone testimonial
Tired of reading all those stories about the new Apple iPhone? Sure, it’s a cool device. But even an Apple-lover like me gets weary of the hype after a while.
Here’s the antidote to iPhone fever. I read it today in Link. Perhaps you’ve run something about it, too…
Blendtec sells blenders. They advertise them by posting videos of their blenders slicing up all sorts of unusual objects. The point: If their product can blend up weird stuff, it can probably handle your food, too.
So yes, indeed: The man in the video blends an iPhone:
As the smoke curdles out of the blender this guy chirps happily: “iSmoke!” And then he says he’s putting the remains of the phone up for sale on eBay.

I loved the blending, but I have to be honest…I got an iPhone and absolutely love it. I have been travelling the newsroom converting people, and not just because I own apple stock.

From an iPhone to a can of easy cheese, this blender kicks some serious butt.
And at $400 a pop, it darn well should.
