Matt Mansfield of the SND Update blog announced this morning that Kristin Lenz of The Hartford Courant has joined The Boston Globe as a page one and special projects designer. Mansfield notes Lenz won 13 SND awards in a similar position at the Courant.

In addition, Mansfield reports Robert Davis of the (Jacksonville) Florida Times-Union also is now at the Globe, working metro design.
