Happy birthday, Timothy Wong
Let’s pause a moment to offer up the happiest of VizEds birthday wishes to Timothy Wong of the University of Maryland. Tim turns 21 today.
Tim interned with The Virginian-Pilot’s community publications last summer, earning kudos for his imaginative and creative solutions to sections that the Pilot’s zoned tabs. Tim’s work raised the bar for all the designers that have followed him.
He interned last fall with USA Today’s Life section. He worked this summer at The Baltimore Sun. He hopes to graduate next spring.

Tim shares birthdays with singers Ludacris, Harry Connick Jr., Moby and Kristy McNichol. Damn — sounds like a good start for an interesting supergroup! In addition, D. H. Lawrence and O. Henry would celebrate birthdays today. If they weren’t dead, that is.
Plus, my niece, Keeley Apple, turns seven today. WooHOO!
