Riley is a girl. Seven pounds, 15 ounces. Twenty-one centimeters long. Chris reports via iPhone from bedside:

Short labor — 12 hours — but a lot of fun thereafter.

She’s got an awesome set of vocal chords. But her mom was a vocalist.

This is Chris’ first child. It’s Karen’s second — because, y’know, you have to count Chris.

We understand that Dad is already hoping for an athletic scholarship to the University of Arkansas.
