I can second Richard’s advise on the museum, except it is in Santa ROSA, which is in the Northbay, opposite side of SF from Santa Clara. It is right next to the Ice Arena that that Schulz owned. “Sparky” is our paper’s (Santa Rosa Press Democrat) favorite celebrity..except for Deep Throat Mark Felt, who also lives in Santa Rosa these days. That great photo is by John Burgess, one of our award winning photogs-probably one of his most reproduced images!

As a long-time “Peanuts” lover and Schulz admirer, I can highly recommend a visit to the Charles Schulz Museum in Santa Clara, Calif. It’s a beautiful museum, building and experience (it’s nice to hear people laugh in a museum!) The biography is also on my wish list.
