Here’s wishing the happiest of VizEds birthdays to Gabe Hartwig, a news designer for The St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Gabe turns 27 today.

Gabe has been with The Post-Dispatch nearly three years. Before that, he was Design and Graphics Editor for The Southeast Missourian in Cape Girardeau and a student at Southeast Missouri State University.

Gabe shares a birthday with Josh Crutchmer of The Omaha World-Herald, professional volleyball player-turned-supermodel Gabrielle Reece, singer Sade Adu, director John Carpenter and sports figures A.J. Foyt (racing), Dizzy Dean (Cardinals pitcher) and Harry Carey Sr. (Cubs TV announcer).

Plus today is National Nothing Day. Seriously.
