Happy birthday, Nick Mrozowski
Here’s wishing the happiest of VizEds birthdays to Nick Mrozowski of The Virginian-Pilot. Nick turns 24 today.

Nick is a very talented guy. He worked as a designer for The State News, the student newspaper at Michigan State University and was named the Society for News Design’s College Designer of the Year two consecutive years.
By the time he graduated in 2006, Nick had worked his way up to editor-in-chief of The State News and had served internships at The Pilot and The Detroit News.
The Pilot snapped him up as soon as he graduated in 2006. He’s been here ever since.

Sorry I don’t have anything more recent to post. Hey, Nick! Post some recent pages, willya?
Nick shares a birthday with Michael Dabrowa of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, actors Clark Gable, Bill Mumy, Sherilyn Fenn and Pauly Shore, musicians Rick James, Lisa Marie Presley and OutKast’s Big Boi, director John Ford and former Russian leader Boris Yeltsin.
Plus, today is Serpent Day. Seriously.
Best wishes for a happy birthday, Nick!
