Ryan shares a birthday with sports stars Jennifer Capriati and Cy Young, supermodel Elle MacPherson, actor Lucy Lawless — you’ll remember her as Xena, but she’s currently appearing in Battlestar Galactica — former British Prime Minister John Major and Wal-Mart founder Sam Walton.

Plus, today is the Festival of Smoke and Mirrors. Seriously. Danged if I know what that means, though.
