Coming soon: Summer internship roundup
Coming in this very blog, very soon will be our — uh, first annual roundup of summer interns.
Last week, I sent out a big mess of e-mails to every college student whose e-mail addresses I could find. It was a brief survey form and a request for a jpeg mug shot.
After I finished spamming everyone I knew, I discovered I was way too heavy on certain colleges where I have contacts (Missouri, Ball State, Ohio University, Michigan State).
So here’s the deal: If you have an internship scheduled this summer and would like to make a brief appearance here in the blog, please drop me an e-mail. I’ll send you the survey. You bang out a few quick answers and return it asap.
College folks have told me they want more tips and help with networking. This is a chance for you to get your internship, links to your portfolio and your face out there in front of folks who’ll be hiring one day (hopefully).
