Heads up, designers of NFL draft pages…

The Seattle TimesRich Boudet, over at SportsDesigner, reminds us: You should trash all your NFL logos right now. The new NFL logo takes effect with the draft. Which is this weekend.

In addition, Sportsdesigner points out the fun ESPN had with rejected new NFL logos.

LogoDesign.com conducted a survey of favorite NFL team logos, as chosen by site readers and by a panel of design experts. Apparently, folks love the Broncos’ logo. Go figure.

Denver Broncos

Coming in dead last in both polls? The Cleveland Browns.

Cleveland Browns

An easy choice, given the fact they’re the only NFL team that doesn’t use a helmet logo of any kind.

  1. Jay Carr Says:

Have you noticed that most of the new NFL logos are shaped the same? They all look like wind socks to me. The one exception would be the Texans logo, which I was was surprised to see ranked No. 3 amongst designers …

  2. Douglas E. Jessmer Says:

I’d like to know why the No Fun League changed its logo in the first place. They didn’t like the swashy letters?

And as for the Browns: I’ll take their logo any day.
