Indy Star’s Stephen Beard adds to personal portfolio
Graphics master Stephen Beard of The Indianapolis Star and his wife, Susie, increased the size of their family Thursday. At 2:13 p.m., to be precise.
Meet Sarah Christine Beard — all 7 lbs, 10 oz. of her. Stephen points out this, oddly enough, was also the birth weight of their son, Matthew.
Stephen writes:
Mother and daughter are doing exceedingly well. Labor was short and sweet (or as sweet as anything called “labor” can be). On meeting Sarah for the first time, Matthew had only this to say: “Take Baby Sisstah away!”
Oh, man. We haven’t even told him we’re planning to bring her HOME from the hospital.
