Here’s wishing a very happy VizEds birthday to Joey Marburger, an online editor for The Indianapolis Star. Joey turns 24 today (Saturday).

Joey has been at The Star about five months. Previously, he worked as a multimedia marketing intern at The Times of Northwest Indiana. A 2007 graduate of Purdue University, Joey was features editor of Purdue’s student paper, The Exponent, his senior year.
Somewhere out there are mega-examples of Joey’s multimedia work. But we have no idea where they would be.

Speaking of “soon,” we should add that Joey is engaged to be married to Cassandra Riddle, who just graduated Purdue a couple weeks ago and writes for The Times of Northwest Indiana.

Joey shares a birthday with Stephanie Guigou of Ball State University, comedian Bob Saget, actors Bill Paxton and Dennis Hopper, boxer Sugar Ray Leonard, musicians Enya Brennan, Jordan Knight (of New Kids on the Block), Trent Reznor (not of New Kids on the Block — he’s with Nine Inch Nails) and Andrea Corr (of The Corrs), and the late Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini. Remember him?
In addition, today is Pack Rat Day. Seriously.
