Welcome, two new little Visual Editors

Announcing two additions to the family…

Lindi Daywalt Feazel, a features designer and illustrator for the Fort Myers, Fla., News-Press, gave birth Tuesday, April 29 to Tanner James Feazel.

Tanner was 8 lbs., 4 oz. and 21.5 inches long.

“We’re all doing well, just completely exhausted,” mom reports.

Meanwhile, another former Virginian-Pilot graphics department intern — Pai, graphics director of the San Jose Mercury News — welcomed a daughter, Emily Athena Wei.

Emily arrived at 5 p.m. Pacific Time, Sunday, weighing 6 lbs., 7.5 oz.

Mom and daughter are doing fine while “Papa Pai sounds more than elated,” reports Matt Mansfield.

Congratulations to all involved in the planning and production of both extra editions!
