Bridget won the second-ever “The Intern” contest last fall at SND/Boston. Her prize: A summer internship at The New York Freakin’ Times.

Yep: She’s there right now. Nope: She’s not blogging a lot about it, so far. But she is spending a lot of time Tweeting.

Bridget shares a birthday with Katrina Lallier of Metro Boston, actor Juliette Lewis, Ray Davies of The Kinks, artist Al Hirschfeld and Prince William of England.

Believe it or not, both actors who played the parents on the old TV sitcom Family Ties — Meredith Baxter and Michael Gross — were born on the same day.

Plus, today is Cuckoo Warning Day. Seriously.
