Happy birthday, Ryan Ford

A graduate of Washington State University, Ryan spent several years as a sports designer for The Colorado Springs Gazette. A number of his pages graced my slide shows.
Then, about two-and-a-half years ago, Ryan migrated eastward to the home of Ford. He’s doing brilliant work for the Freep. Check out the stuff he did over the past few weeks, during the Stanley Cup run:

Happy birthday, man. Seems like only yesterday we were belly up to the Anchor bar. While I won’t be able to drink today, I’ll hoist one for you very soon.

Yo, Ford, remember that five-minute period where it seemed possible we might be working together? Me too. I think it would’ve been too much concentrated awesome in one place.
