We are very unhappy and disappointed with the new format to the Courant. The advertising overshadows the news, the limited business section fails to report market activities, the sports news is overpowered by professional teams, and the abbreviation of the editorial page leaves readers with a less informed point of view!

  2. Fran and Richard Casasanta Says:

We have been subscribers for over 45 years. We are both very disappointed with the new design of the Hartford Courant. Your new subtitles are worthless and topics which were very easily accessible are not longer found. Having the comics and the obituaries facing each other is immoral. The entire body of the layout is visually impossible to read. The advertisements are much too big and are put in absolutely poor locations. Very, very disappointed in the entire redesign. Might have to cancel and have the The New York Times delivered or another paper. Shame on the people who did this to us. Bring back the old layout. If you value the comments, why not do something about it.

We would like to share with you our disappointment in the new design for the Hartford Courant. It is very difficult to find relevant news due to the amount of advertising on each page. The newspaper presentation provides us with the feel that we are on a business trip and opening the door to find “USA Newspaper”. Your newspaper in the past has always provided the reader with informative and user friendly articles. The new design is
confusing and user unfriendly. Please consider a more traditional and appropriate design. If you design continues we are considering cancelling our subscription.honor
