Here’s wishing a happy VizEds birthday to Michelle Cham Yu of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Michelle received a master’s degree in media convergence last spring from the University of Missouri, after serving an internship at BusinessWeek and helping with the redesign of web sites for IRE and NICAR. She also studied diplomacy at Beijing’s Peking University, earned a degree in computer science at the University of Hong Kong and worked as a business reporter and editor for the Xinhua News Agency in Beijing.

Michelle shares a birthday with musicians Susanna Hoffs and Robert James “Kid Rock” Ritchie, actors James Earl Jones, Jim Carrey and Andy Kauffman, boxer Muhammad Ali, gangster Al Capone and soon-to-be First Lady Michelle Obama.

Plus, today is Blessing of the Animals at the Cathedral Day. Seriously.
