Barrie (Ontario) Examiner launches redesign

The Examiner of Barrie, Ontario, launched a redesign this morning, the paper reports.

A story in today’s Examiner says the new design will…

…make the newspaper more organized and easier to read.

Headlines, stories and photo captions are in a new typeface to make them more readable. Although the type is the same size as before, we realize it will take readers a few days to get used to it. For that, we apologize.

The Examiner is owned by Sun Media of Toronto and circulates about 57,000 copies six days a week.
