Play Bingo during tonight’s Presidential address
Technically, it won’t be a State of the Union address, we’re told.
Because Barack Obama has been president for only a month, the annual Presidential address to Congress is coming a month later than normal and is being referred to as a prime-time economic address.
But that doesn’t mean you can’t have fun while watching it. The super-cool Erica Smith of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch sends this along:
You can pull the “card” up on your screen and play along, during the speech tonight. Individual pieces turn grey when you click on them. If you don’t like your card, click the button at the bottom and you’ll be dealt a new one.
Any five pieces in a row makes you a winner, Erica says. But she hasn’t said what you win.
Our guess: You’ll be allowed to foot the bill for the bailout. WooHOO!
Erica never sleeps, we’re guessing. Not only does she maintain at least three dynamite blogs plus work a full-time job, she also builds stuff like this as a weekend project.
She writes:
It aggregates journalism jobs from several sources. I’ll keep adding to it, and hope to create a board for newspaper, broadcasting, P.R. jobs, etc.
