A request for help: We’d like to see your best photo pages
A college professor e-mailed me this morning. He’s assigning his class a project to design a photo page. He asked me to send him some cool examples of photo pages.
And you know what? I might have a few. But I guess I’ve just never gotten around to showing a lot of photo pages.
A cool photo page of the most remarkable play from this
year’s Super Bowl. Designed by former Beaver County
Times photo guru Clif Page.

So here’s what we want you to do. If you have access to PDFs or high-resolution JPGs of cool photo pages, please e-mail them to me. The address: chuckapple [at] cox.net
The most stunning photo pages I’ve ever seen in my life were ones that ran in the L.A. Times several years ago, showing the California wildfires. Michael Whitley had those pages in his slideshow at SND/Houston. Or was it San Jose? Extra bonus brownie points to anyone who can send me those pages.
Some very fine j-school students at a large Southeastern university will benefit if you can do this for us. Thanks a bunch.

Charles, look at Rich Boudet’s Sportsdesigner.com site, where voting is going on for Best of Sports Design 08 and has a category dedicated to photo pages.
And here were our pages from the Rockies’ ill-fated Series run a couple years ago: http://photos.denverpost.com/photoprojects/galleries/roxseriespages.html
