Our daily romp through the Newseum resulted in three pages with headlines that made us laugh out loud.

This one, from the Benton County Daily Record in Arkansas:

This one in the Casa Grande, Ariz., Dispatch, is about a school that uses horses as part of its classroom curriculum:

Hey, we like the new Sun Sentinel redesign. But with the page one format they’ve chosen to go with, you have to be mindful of the size and placement of your main headline.

    With another story, maybe a big rally by the Marlins in the World Series, The Sun-Sentinel headline could have been HIT PARADE.

    I got the ‘Mr. Ed’ reference, Charles. Then again, “Nick at Nite” has been around since my childhood.

    It’s still a headline that tries too hard.
