Josh Gillin has been a writer, designer and editor for TBT — the youth-oriented tabloid of the St. Petersburg Times — for nearly three years. A 1998 graduate of the University of Nebraska, Josh spent a year as a copy editor at The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review and three-and-a-half years as a news planner and designer for The Savannah Morning News. before moving to the Philadelphia Inquirer in 2002. He designed page one, served as editor of the Inky’s Weekend magazine and was presentation editor of sports.
Among the many hats Josh wears at tbt is that of gossip columnist. Josh turns 33 today.
Chris Morris has been art director of The Las Vegas Sun. for about three years. A 1987 graduate of East Texas University in Commerce, Texas — now known as Texas A&M-Commerce — Chris worked at the San Francisco Examiner and then spent many years as presentation director of The Dallas Morning News.
His free-lance clients have included the folks at Pepsi-Cola and a number of professional sports francises: baseball’s Giants, Marlins and Yankees and the NFL 49ers. Find his personal web site here. Chris turns 45 today.
Josh and Chris share a birthday with athlete Jim Thorpe, James Bond creator Ian Fleming, former New York mayor Rudolph Giuliani and musicians John Fogerty, Gladys Knight, Kylie Minogue and Wendy O. Williams.
