Michael Jackson through the years in the WSJ… in stipple
Michelle Kung of the Wall Street Journal’s SpeakEasy blog posted the three “hedcut” stipple drawings her paper has used, over the years, of Michael Jackson:
The one on the left dates from 1984, the middle from 1992 and the travesty on the right is from 2005 — it’s actually traced from the mug shot of his arrest, if we’re not mistaken.
Meanwhile, the Pew Research Center for People and the Press reports that 64 percent of Americans feel the media overplayed the death of Michael Jackson. Find more about that here.
