Beaver County’s Diane Lewin moving to Roanoke, Va.
A little bird in Beaver, Pa., tells us:
Tuesday was Diane Lewin’s final day at the Beaver County Times. She’s been an A1, wire and entertainment editor/designer here for about a year. She’s leaving us for the Roanoke Times.
She truly has accomplished good work doing graphical presentation “on a shoestring budget.” Her deskmates wish her well and will miss her lots.
A 2000 graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania — where she was on the equestrian team — Diane spent four years as copy editor and A1 designer of the The Derrick and the News Herald of Oil City in west Pennsylvania. She spent five years as the assistant news editor of the the Centre Daily Times of State College, Pa, She moved to Beaver County in July 2008.
