Here’s wishing the happiest of VizEds birthdays today to Chase Purdy, a cops reporter for the News Virginian in Waynesboro, Va.
A 2009 graduate of Hillsdale (Mich.) College, Chase has interned at the Toledo Free Press, the Charleston, S.C., Post and Courier and the Arizona Republic. He began his current duties in September.
Chase shares a birthday with actors Daisy Fuentes, Danny DeVito, Lauren Hutton, Roy Harold Scherer (better known as Rock Hudson), and RuPaul Andre Charles (better known by her his first name); director Martin Scorsese; Saturday Night Live producer Lorne Michaels; singer/songwriter Gordon Lightfoot and baseball great Tom Seaver.
