So where do I stand in all this? I’m neither a Yankees nor a Phillies fan. I’m bemoaning the fact that my favorite team, the Atlanta Braves, has already been mathematically eliminated from next year’s pennant race.

Charles, as a fellow Braves fan (Bob Horner and Dale Murphy posters stuck away in my attic somewhere), take solace in the fact that they trashed the Mets. And no one will be as offended by that statement as my wife and in-laws.
