Poynter publishes book collecting Kennedy front pages
Not of the death of Sen. Edward Kennedy, back in August — although that’ll certainly be included. No, this book will collect newspaper pages of all the Kennedys from all eras.
Poynter’s release states:
Following the success of President Obama, a front page collection of election and inauguration front pages that spent six weeks on The New York Times bestseller list, Poynter has partnered with Andrews McMeel Publishing to produce a book that reflects 50 years of the Kennedys, as told through newspapers that chronicled American history as it happened.
With an introduction by CBS Chief Washington Correspondent and Face the Nation host Bob Schieffer, The Kennedys: America’s Front Page Family starts in 1960 with John F. Kennedy’s run for the presidency and ends with the death of Senator Edward Kennedy.
The book costs $16.99. Co-editor Julie Moos tells us:
