Victoria (Texas) Advocate’s New Moon presentation
By now, you’re very familiar with the work done by Ryan Huddle and his staff of designers at the Advocate of Victoria, Texas, circulation 33,549.
Last year, we showed you an astounding series of movie-themed editions of their weekly entertainment tab, M3. Earlier this year, we happily posted the Advocate’s special Harry Potter-themed M3 edition. And then, the Advocate went all-out at Halloween with a musical video extravaganza starring entertainment writer Aprill Brandon.
To commemorate the opening of the new Twilight movie last night, Ryan and company have done it again. A New Moon-themed issue of M3, complete with a reversible wrap-around cover — one side for the vampire Edward fans and another for the werewolf Jacob fans.

Ryan writes:
Oh, a really cool thing we did was call the movie theater. They are going to pass out the M3 sections out to people standing in line to see the movie. I think they said they sold out for all screens and that should be a little over 1,000 people.
I hope they like the double sided cover and no riots break out between who is better, Edward or Jacob.
Ryan also sent along a few inside pages. Click any for a larger view.
This one focuses on the guy playing Jacob, the love interest for this installment:
This one looks at the movie’s vampire characters and covers vampire lore through history. April wrote the story.
I love the “Yikes” smack in the middle of the page. What fun.
The center spread takes on the Edward vs. Jacob angle as well as vampires in the movies.
