Rich Boudet is a designer at the Seattle Times. A 1994 graduate of the University of Washington, Rich worked as a sports designer at the Arizona Daily Star and the Tacoma, Wash., News Tribune before joining the Times in 2006. He’s probably best known, however, as the founder of the SportsDesigner blog, which he maintains with his pal Josh Crutchmer of the Chicago Tribune. Rich turns 39 today.
Jennifer Enfinger is a marketing, design and publications specialist for the Gourmet Catalog and Buying Group in Dallas, Texas. A 1999 graduate of Troy University in Alabama, Jennifer worked as news editor of the Dothan (Ala.) Eagle and news presentation editor of the Albany (Ga.) Herald before joining the Dallas Morning News as an assistant news editor in 2008. She moved to Gourmet last May.
Jen and Rich share a birthday with actors Jennifer Jason Leigh, Christopher Guest, Barbara Hershey, Aaron Chwatt (better known as Red Buttons) and Laura Linney; sports greats Roger Staubach (football) and Henry “Hank” Aaron (baseball); artist Hans Rudolf Giger; author William Burroughs and politician Adlai E.
