An international competition for World Cup presentations
I hope all you folks designing all these cool World Cup pages will take note: Our pal Iam Sajeevkumar T.K., visual editor of Kaumudi in Kerala, India, and founder of the Newspaper Designing web site, has announced a new contest to honor the great work being done on the Cup.
The basics:
- There are three categories: Page one, sports page and infographics.
- There are two classifications: One for the entire world and one just for Indian newspapers.
- All entries must be sent by Wednesday, Aug. 11.
- Send entries to tksajeev [at] gmail.com
And please keep in mind that Aug. 11 will end for tksajeev before it ends here in the western hemisphere.
There’s not much more to know. But find the official solicitation for entries here.
Tksajeev, of course, is the guy behind the Newspaper Designing contest that held its inaugural competition earlier this year. Read about that contest here. Find the winning entries…
The Newspaper Designing site is aimed at Indian news designers, in hopes of broadening their horizons and helping them interface more often with the other news designers of the world. Tksajeev — as he likes to be called — encourages us all to join his site and enter the competitions.
