Publico for a new audience
This is the face of the new Spanish newspaper Publico designed by Cases i Associats. It will be very visual, in the line of the new Avui or their most recent work, the free paper DNA (one of my personal favourites). The art director is my teacher Fernando Carballo.
According to comunicacio21.com, Publico will have four editions (Madrid, Barcelona, Andalucia and Nacional) and will be printed in seven different presses owned by the Spanish government.
The 64 full color pages newspaper, will cost 50 cents, and will be distributed in 21,000 points. The target are the readers from 25 to 45 years. Publico has special interest in catching the young people and the woman and will be standing in the center-left side of spanish politics.
250,000 Publicos will be on the street starting next Thursday. Stay alert.
