We're pushing our fledgling organization off the proverbial cliff -- we're holding our first national convention at the end of this month in New Orleans.
Please help spread the word to Metro and City Editors and any senior managers you think might want to reward a hard-working, under-appreciated editor with a low-cost training experience.
On tap are sessions about Managing Up (advice from real live senior editors, not just your peers), Crisis Management -- how to lead when one of your own IS the news, Identifying the Intangibles -- articulating all the things you know are key editing traits but no one has yet put into words, and lastly a journalist-narrated bus tour of the post-Katrina New Orleans.
