We're starting Season Two of our fantasy football keepers league for visual editors, and we have openings for a few new owners.

Our first season was not short on drama. Denise Covert set the trash talking tone early on. Her Daytona Kraken didn't make the playoffs, but did sweep the consolation bracket Ã¢â‚¬â€œ earning her this year's first draft pick overall. Ben Ramsden's Little Lebowski Urban Achievers unexpectedly upset two of the strongest regular season teams in the playoffs to reach the championship game. In the end, his hopes were crushed by my own Beach Bums.

But it's a new season, with the added dimension of each team being able to keep a few players from last year's roster. I don't know if anyone's capable of stopping my budding Bums dynasty from repeating, but we're looking for a few folks willing to try.

I'd love to play but I'm already in two leagues. Never played in a keeper league before either. I'm looking for one more team owner for my league, if anyone is interested drop me an email. Its free and we play for bragging rights only.

Hey, once I make the playoffs, we'll se what happens, Coop. I think that bye week's gonna bring you down.

And Denise, well, I now know why you took Michael Vick so early last year. This year: No points for dogfighting...

Jason: The draft is on the 24th, but it's not live, it's via e-mail. Which is actually kinda nice, most of the time. Plus it lets us put it off for a coupla days if we have to. Team price: a low, low, $10....

I'm actually relieved he's not a factor this year. I HAD to keep him last year, bc with the scoring for rushing yards he was one of my best players. But it really grated on my anti-Hokie sentiments that had been drummed into me for years at UM.

My new UM-related conflict: Hoping Portis stays hurt. Man, I feel so disloyal.

I'm in! Looking forward to the season...this e-mail draft sounds like a great idea.

Does anyone know if I have to pre-rank my draft list? If I don't pick someone, will the draft default to my list? I couldn't find an explanation describing the purpose of this list.
