Josh, what is SPLOST? I don't want to have to email you to find out, and neither would anyoen else reading your portfolio. Don't be rude.
Make sure you take out the extra "the" in the name of your paper.
Dump the Jan 2006 page you put in just for your NFL promo -- you're right, it doesn't reproduce well, and the text is in front of the players. Don't post a page and say "well, it's really not like this" -- that doesn't help whoever's looking. Like I said to Autumn, post what LOOKS good, not what was the result of a herculean effort, unless that effort is visible from the page. (Election pages are tough like that. You worked like hell and you're proud of them, but visually they are often dull -- though most of yours are excellent!)
And I wouldn't post early drafts of things that didn't print (like the alternate version of the golf course DT) especially when the finished product looks so much better. EXCEPTION: Keep the Microsoft butterfly/gavel one, that's awesome.
Same thing with your first-ever sports front. NPD's for your best stuff, not for "nothing special." Save the sentimental stuff for a scrapbook.
As for past employers, I would keep your very best pages -- the ones that are at least as good as what you're doing now -- and cull the rest. I'm not a fan of the mayoral debate one, the Jacko verdict, Saddam Awaits his Fate and "Bush Plan Calls for Cutting Dividend Taxes." Hmm, that's not very many I don't like. OK, well, um, keep up the good work! _________________ The soul walks not upon a line, neither does it grow like a reed.
