By that time I've got A1 almost in stone. It will be a crazy madhouse if he knocks it out at 9:45pm. I was just wondering if other designers are stressing at all? I feel for east coast papers.

In the eastern time zone, we wished ALL of the west coast games were afternoon games. A bunch of us hang around for Bond's third at bat, only to have the pitcher reach a 3 and 0 count.
Then a stirke that Bonds won't touch, a foul ball or two, then Bonds gets the walk, and a pinch runner comes into the game.
Thanks man.

At the rate the ball is flying out of the park so far, I'm hoping this nightmare will end tonight.
We've been fairly lucky - usually get two at-bats before first edition, then we play the waiting game until 1 CST.

Hey, it could be worse. You could work at an East Coast paper and have absolutely no shot in Hades to get those last two at-bats in. Wink

Ernie - looks like Gehrig's name is spelled wrong in the RBIs breakout.

(I like the page a lot - just wanted to get that first in the hope you can fix that before it goes to press.)
