ALERT:
Randy Stano has a lot of great talent lined up for a design seminar in Miami. - it is minus -3 degrees as I write this from my Chicago home . . . so Miami is sounding pretty good to me right now!
If warm weather is not enough, check this.

Patty Alvarez is a designer for Newsweek. She has worked at The Boston Globe, The Miami Herald and el Nuevo Herald.
Mark Edelson is the presentation editor for The Palm Beach Post.
Martin Gee is an illustrator and designer for the San Jose Mercury News. He has worked for the Chicago Tribune and The Miami Herald.
Ken Irby is director of the visual communication program for the Poynter Institute; St. Petersburg, Florida. Kenny has also worked for Newsday as the photography director.
Randy Stano is the Knight Foundation Chair Professor for the School of Communication at the University of Miami. Stano has worked at The Miami Herald, Rochester Democrat & Chronicle and The Kansas City Star/Times.
Brendan Stephens is the art and design director for The Boston Globe Magazine.
Mario Tascon Ruiz is director of the online edition of el Pais, Madrid, Spain. Mario has worked in the same position at el Mundo and director of informational graphics
