In light of the thread about bad hedlines, and having had friends whose illustrations have run with heds that don't match the tone of the illustrations, I thought I'd throw it out there:

How do you all do your heds for your packages with illos?
For those packages where the illustration is strong but needs to have a hed that's just as strong to "make it work"?
How do you get beyond the impulses to use heds/phrasing that is too literal?
