Shane Blatt, presentation editor of the Tallahassee Democrat writes to tell us he's joining the Atlanta Journal-Constitution as a Metro/A1 designer.

Blatt was previously news design team leader at the Tampa Tribune. He worked in Tampa nine years and then moved moved to Tallahassee about four months ago.

Shane begins work in Atlanta Oct. 10.

You guys (Kenny and Shane) are coming to the AJC at a good time. You'll be good for us, and I think we'll be good for you. It's an interesting place to work, and Atlanta is a really great place to live -- as I'm sure you both know. I am really looking forward to working together.
