[UPDATE: I have called tech suppport as this now appears to be a widespread Web virus - not a phpbb virus.]

Woke this morning in KL to find that a few of the VIZEDS board's software files had been hacked by a new phpbb virus.

I just fixed up all the files again and we are now back up.

Please report any further problems with this latest attempt to steal our joy in this sthread.

(Our joy cannot be taken this easily!)

Cool

Robb, have you checked your Web site. I took a peek at it just now (Shamefully, I never had before...) and my virus detector popped up with at least three hits.

I'm getting the same warnings as Grayson. The hacker appeared to leave a little present behind. Here's what the Virus Scan is saying...

"It's detected a virus called: "JS_DLOADER.NTJ"

Pops up each time you go to the site.

Yeah, my virus software goes haywire whenever I go to VizEds today. Something's screwy still, Robb.

Virus? We doan need no stinkin virus.
All you virus scanners doin it on a PC? My Mac hasn't pinged a thing on here and everything looks Hunky Dory through my G5 eyes. Seriously, is this simply a Mac-PC thing or did I just happen to weave around the minefield somehow?

I'm on a Mac and I had access troubles all day Sunday. But my Virex software was pretty calm through it all.
