Your portfolio looks very nice, Autumn!
That said, the first three tab covers are VERY similar, and display the same skills. I'd definitely drop the Trick Pony one -- I don't post pages that didn't print, unless they are absolutely awesome and were reduced to rubble by management.
You could even dump the classical-music kids and just keep the Pussycat Dolls.
Love the fold-out section!
The dinosaur and Venus pages lack dominant art. I dont' think they're as strong as your other science pages and I would leave them out. The Italian health one ROCKS!
I think those are the only ones you should drop -- dino, Venus, and one or two tab pages. There's no harm in having a lot of stuff on your portfolio, as long as it's really good work, which yours is.
The one problem, and I know I do this on my pages, is to post a page that you're proud of not so much for the design, but for the WORK you had to do, and the obstacles (late art, mgmt, computers crashing) you had to overcome to get it out. These are definitely things to be proud of, but NPD is first and foremost a VISUAL medium, so pick your choices based on that.
I especially like this one:

The soul unfolds itself, like a lotus of countless petals.
