Some of you may have already seen this on SND’s update blog, but here’s the info for the viz eds community in case you missed it to enter a competition to design the 29th edition of SND’s best of newspaper design annual.

Finally spreading region 15’s wings to outside the UK and Ireland, graphic design guru Neville Brody and his team at Research Studios have overseen the design of Polska - a new national daily paper in Poland.
It’s been produced in association with The Times in the UK. Read more on the project here.
And while we’re in Eastern Europe it’s worth downloading Marek Knap’s presentation of new work in Poland, Ukraine and Russia, from the SND workshop in Boston.
Marek is a design director who worked on the 2005 World’s Best-Design winner, Rzeczpospolita in Poland.
It’s a good insight into his background, his work and how newspapers have changed in Eastern Europe and Russia.
