Organiser Frederik Ruys says: “Because we have four english speakers and last year’s survey showed that attendees were interested to have it translated into Dutch, we decided to book professional simultaneous translators and give headphones to (a part of) the audience. That also gives us the opportunity to translate the Dutch presentations for our speakers and to you (and some other guests abroad).
“So far 130 people have signed up for the conference. Last year we receveid 200 registrars and a lot of people had to be on a waiting list, so we choose this year for the larger theater in Figi. Although we very much liked the intimacy of last year’s smaller conference room, we hope to avoid disappointments to registrars and extra paperwork for us.
“We’re working together with The Dutch Designers Association and the Union of Dutch Journalists for a special feature magazine on Infographics. It will entirely be dedicated to the conference.
“Also good news from our partner Adobe: they will give away one set of the brand new Creative Suite to a lucky attendee.”
Sounds like another great day.
