London Evening Standard redesign

The Evening Standard in London, England, had a redesign a few weeks ago.
Art Director Nick Cave said the the project was “a suicidally quick one”. It took five weeks from start to finish and was directed by himself and a small team which included, Lee Bearton, deputy art director, Adrian Black, senior designer and Steve Latibeaudiere, graphic artist.
They had a small amount of font advice from typographic consultant Paul Barnes.
Every font was changed and they now use use Publico text, Publico Heading, Publico Banner, Stag, Stag sans and Amplitude.

Generally the response has been very good. The Guardian gives its view here.
Mark Porter writes his thoughts on the new look at his blog, and you can read an interview with Standard editor, Geordie Craig, here.
