Innovations
I have attempted some visual innovations in
our daily’s front page , which was a pioneer experiment
in a Malayalam daily. One such is the
centerpiece which is usually adopted by
American news papers.
Most of the Indian newspapers follow
horizontal display .But these days,
many readers, especially youngsters, like to read
newspaper vertically as they follow web pages
regularly. I have done vertical displays in
our daily’s front page many a times and was well
received.

Redesign
I have redesigned the Kerala Kaumudi daily twice. First in
December 1st2005 and the Second in June 1st
2007. Both were well received by the readers.

I am proud to say that I belong to that state of india where literarcy rate and reading awareness is much higher than the national average. As a result innumerable vernacular dailies fourish here. This adds more responsibility and competition to the newspaper industry. In this footing I propose to open windows to the Indian media devolpment. The newspaper I am working with has a history of 96 year of publication.
